BURLINGTON - Austin Lee Cook, 85, of Burlington died Monday, October 29, 2018 at The Hospice Home in Burlington.
He was a native of Alamance County, retired from Burlington Industries and a member of Lighthouse Chapel Church and a US Army Veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents, J.C. & Mattie Styers Cook; first wife, Emma Jean Cook and sister, Carnell Summers.
He is survived by his wife, Faye C. Barber-Cook of the home; son, Rodney Cook and wife Cathy of Burlington; daughter, Gina Wofford and husband Terry of Burlington; stepson, Jason Barber of Burlington; grandchildren, Casey Wofford & Hunter Cook
A service to celebrate his life will be held 2:00 PM Friday at the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Graham by Pastor D.L. Perry.
Burial will follow in Alamance Memorial Park.
