Earl Garrison, 87, passed away on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at the Hospice Home surrounded by his family.  He was born in Alamance County to the late Jennings Melvin and Virgie Frances Iseley Garrison and was married to the late Wylline Madren Garrison.

He retired from GKN after over 20 years of service.  Earl was a member of Stony Creek Presbyterian Church where he had previously served as an elder, deacon, Sunday school superintendent, choir and quartet member.  He was a founding member of North Central Volunteer Fire Department where he served for over 40 years as volunteer firefighter, captain, assistant chief and chief.  He also enjoyed volunteering for several years at Meals-On-Wheels.

He is survived by his daughter, Sharon G. Elosser (David); brother, Mack Garrison (Judy); 15 nieces and nephews and 44 great nieces and nephews.  

He was preceded in death by his wife and parents.

A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, September 10, 2022 at Stony Creek Presbyterian Church by Pastor Kristen Levens with burial to follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM Friday at Lowe Funeral Home & Crematory and other times at the home.
