BURLINGTON — Mr. Marvin Dean Kernodle, 63, of 3603 Danieley Water Wheel Road, died Sunday, Oct. 8, 2000, at his home.
A native of Alamance County, he was the husband of Mrs. Carolyn Jean May Kernodle, who died in 1988, and the son of Mr. Lonzie Lovette Kernodle and Mrs. Lola Mae Simpson Kernodle of Burlington. He was employed with General Electric in Mebane for more than 25 years. He was a member of Friendly Lane Baptist Church.
Survivors other than his parents include a son, Mr. Eric Dean Kernodle of Columbus, Ohio, and a brother, Mr. Howard Wayne Kernodle of Burlington.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at Friendly Lane Baptist Church by the Rev. Danny Miles, pastor. The body will be placed in the church 30 minutes before the service. Burial will be in Alamance Memorial Park.
The family will be at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory from 7 to 9 this evening and at other times at the parents’ home at 3603 Danieley Water Wheel Road, Burlington, and at the home of a niece and her husband, Mr. Jeff Gammon and Mrs. Kim Gammon, at 1157 Spring Road, Burlington.3, Mr. Marvin Dean Kernodle
