GRAHAM - Louis Nicholas Curcio, 59, of Graham passed away peacefully on Tuesday June 27, 2017 at Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance-Caswell.
Louis was born on September 26, 1957 in Greenwich, CT the son of the late Anthony & Kathleen Curcio.
Louis was a Loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, and Uncle. He loved spending time with his son, two grandsons, and two nephews. His love for Cigars, Pipes, Big Trucks, and Motorcycles took him and his wife on travels all over the United States, and to many different Countries. Formerly of Port Chester, NY he moved with his family to Raleigh NC in 1970’s and graduated from Cardinal Gibbons High School class of 1976.
Louis attended both Appalachian State University and Duke University and went two years to Alamance Community College where he was a member of PHI THETA KAPPA Honor Society. Louis and his wife owned several Cigar Shops, and a trucking company. He and his wife worked side by side 24/7 in their businesses together to make them successful. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents Mr. & Mrs. Curcio, and Mr. & Mrs. Nicholas Vaccaro.
Surviving are his wife of 27 years Jackie Darlene Guthrie Moffitt Curcio of the home; one son Brian K Moffitt of Randleman NC; two grandsons, Devin N. Moffitt & Logan N. Moffitt of Richmond VA; two nephews, Kyle T. Walker & Cody J. Walker of Elon NC; a sister in law, T Dawn Walker and husband Mark of Elon NC; his mother in law Betty G. Guthrie of Burlington; his aunt Yolanda Moccia of Stanford, CT as well as several cousins.
