Miss Janie Lannell Rice
GRAHAM — Miss Janie Lannell Rice , 57, of The Bell House, 2400 Summit Ave., Greensboro, died Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2006, at the Wesley Long Community Hospital.
A native of Alamance County, she was the daughter of the late Charlie A. Rice Sr. and Teresa Marlene "Myrtle" Peters. She was a member of Reedy Fork Baptist Church.
Survivors include brothers, Roger Dean Rice and Tim Rice and wife, Cindy, all of Burlington, and Lynn Rice and wife, JJ, of Bristow, Va.; a half brother, Charlie A. Rice Jr. of Yanceyville; a half sister, Kristie Rice Apple of Hillsborough; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 18, 2006, at Reedy Fork Baptist Church in Greensboro by the Rev. Steve Tucker. Burial will be in Kerrs Chapel Baptist Church cemetery in Caswell County.
The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 10 a.m. until service time, and at other times the family will be at the home of Tim and Cindy Rice , 470 Rascoe-Dameron Road, Burlington. The body may be viewed at the Mc-Clure Funeral Home in Graham from 4 to 9 p.m. today.
