BURLINGTON — William Donald "Donnie" Madren, 57, 2370 Basin Creek Road, died Monday, December 15, 2003, at Alamance Regional Medical Center after several months of failing health. He was born in Alamance County to Joseph Daniel Madren and Annie Lee Beckom Madren, who both survive.
Survivors other than his parents of the home include brothers and sisters-in-law, Daniel and Loretta Madren, Steve and Patsy Madren, all of Burlington; nieces and spouses, Marsha and Allen Hatch, LeeAnn and Eddie Williams; nephews and spouse, Greg Madren, Rodney Madren, Joey and Elizabeth Madren; seven great-nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Bethlehem Christian Church by the Rev. Dave Gilbert and assisted by Mr. Matt Smith. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 this evening at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory, and other times at the home.
