Frederick Boswell Gilliam

BURLINGTON - Frederick Boswell Gilliam, 74, of Burlington passed away at his residence on Saturday, April 10, 2021.

A native of Alamance County, he was the husband of the late Peggy Lee Waller Gilliam and the son of Worth Gilliam and Frances Boswell Gilliam, both deceased.

He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy and retired from Bell South/ AT& T. He will be remembered for his quick wit and having a joke for nearly any situation.

Survivors include fiancé, Donna Coleman Little; sons, Thomas Gilliam and wife Stacy of Texas and Josh Gilliam and wife Holly of Burlington; two grandchildren, Mackenzie and Cooper; sister, Sarah Faucette; brother, Robert Gilliam.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Wanda Jones.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
