Connie Martin Crumpton
ELON — Mr. Connie Martin Crumpton, 55, of 3163 Saul Loop Road, Elon, died suddenly at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington on Thursday, April 10, 2008 at 8 a.m.
A native of Alamance County, he was the son of Jean Isley Crumpton, who survives, and the late Billy Mack Crumpton. He was a salesman and volunteered for various charities. He was a member of Friendship United Methodist Church.
In addition to his mother of Burlington, survivors include a sister, Mrs. Lynn Crumpton Mc-Pherson and husband, Terry, of Graham; two nieces, Mrs. Carla McPherson Fuller and husband, Bryant, of Charlotte and Mrs. Casey McPherson Allred and husband, Andy, of Graham; a great-niece, Mattie Fuller; and a special friend, Ms. Deborah King Fuller of Wilmington.
The funeral will be conducted at Friendship United Methodist Church on Sunday, April 13, 2008 at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Alvin M. Horne and the Rev. Jack W. Page Jr. Burial will follow the service in the church cemetery. The body will be placed in the church one hour prior to the service.
The family will receive friends at the residence of his mother, Jean Crumpton, 4307 Friendship-Rock Creek Road, Burlington, N.C., and in the church parlor after the service.
