GIBSONVILLE — Mr. Glenn Eugene Michael, 79, of 4261 McIntyre Road, died Monday, May 22, 2000, at his home.
A native of Guilford County, he was the husband of Mrs. Helen Greeson Michael and the son of Mr. Elza Rankin Michael and Mrs. Ola Watkins Michael, both deceased.
He was a retired employee of E.F. Craven Co. and was a charter member of the McLeansville Wildlife Club. He was a member of Friedens Lutheran Church.
Survivors other than his wife of the home include four sons, Mr. Voight Michael, Mr. Don Michael, Mr. David Michael and Mr. Mark Michael, all of Gibsonville; four sisters, Mrs. Hazel Edmonds of Whitsett, Mrs. Ava Riley of Ocean Isle, Mrs. Edna Tippett of McLeansville and Mrs. Nancy Roberts of Gibsonville; two brothers, Mr. Lonnie Michael of Mebane and Mr. Thomas Michael of McLeansville; ninegrandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Ms. Mozelle Mitchell and Ms. Ruby McKeitchen.
The funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Friedens Lutheran Church by the Rev. Richard Rhoades, pastor.
The body will be placed in the church 30 minutes before the service.
Burial will be in Alamance Memorial Park. The family will be at Lowe Funeral Home from 7 to 9 this evening, and at other times at the home.
