James “Jim” Byerly Danieley, Il

Jim was 75 years old, passed away on September 6, 2022 at Wesley Long Hospital after a longtime illness.

He was born September 23, 1946 in Greensboro, NC to the late James Buchanan Danieley and Virginia Sharp Danieley.

His career began in furniture design, later moving on to graphic and signage design. He was an award-winning signage designer. He was the proud founder and owner of Design Systems until his retirement. He was an avid golfer and served as President of the Alamance Senior Men’s Golf Association for many years, which was very fulfilling and gratifying for him. He also loved photography and took thousands of photos. He was a proud US Army Veteran and served his country in Germany for two years.

He is survived by his wife of almost 30 years, Cindy Bentley Danieley; daughter, Cathi Danieley Allen and husband Steve; forever endeared son.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Linda Danieley Kinyoun.

The family would like to give special thanks to the wonderful staff ofWesley Long ICU unit for their wonderful care and compassion.
Due to Jim’s request, there will be no services. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to ASMGA, 949 Martin Avenue, Graham, NC 27253.
