Jerome Iseley, 86, of Rt. 4, Burlington, died this morning at 4 o'clock in a Durham nursing home following several years of failing health.
He was a native of Alamance county, son of the late Rev. Asa Frank Iseley and Sallie Frances Virginia Foster Iseley. A well known farmer of the Birch Bridge community, he was the husband of the late Mary Jane Ross Iseley, who died in 1955.
He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Rena Maude (Jesse J.) Danieley of Rt. 4, Burlington; two sons, Edward Frank Iseley and Allen A. Iseley, both of Rt. 4, Burlington; two sisters, Mrs. (Effie) A. Carl Greene of Raleigh and Mrs. (Maggie) Albert W. Brinson of New Bern; and three grandchildren.
Final rites will be conducted tomorrow afternoon at 4 o'clock at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Bethlehem Church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home tonight from 7 to 9 o'clock.470, Jerome Iseley
