Mary Webster Small
 
 GRAHAM — Mary Frances Webster Small, 85, passed away Monday, April 11, 2016, at her residence.
 
 Frances was born in Alamance County and a retired textile employee.
 
 Frances was a member of Mt. Hermon United Methodist Church and a member of the Mountain View Ruritan Club. She loved knitting, crochet and embroidering. She was an avid Western movie fan. Frances enjoyed dancing, belonging to several dance clubs, The Alamance County Line Dancers, Cactus Squares dance group, Carousel Cloggers. She was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary with the Burlington VFW. Frances was also an original member of the Steele Concrete Ladies softball team. She coached many girls in softball in the Mt. Hermon Community.
 
 She is survived by her children, James Worth Small (Sheri) of Randleman, Mary Small Garner (Cliff) of Gibsonville, Janna Small Davis (Ken) of Mebane, Steven Christopher Small (Dewayne Bishop) of Burlington; grandchildren, Jennifer (Evan), Jonathan, Justin, Kenna, Hallie, Bethany, Chastity; great-grandchildren, Noah, Owen, Kai, Jaxton, Mason, Kenley, Maddoxx, Jax, Jovi; and daughter in law, Phyllis Small of Statesville.
 
 She was preceded in death by her husband, James Maddox Small; sons, James Maddox Small Jr. and Michael Duane Small; parents, James Clius Webster and Della Mae Williams Webster; sisters, Lettie Mae Shults and Edith Elizabeth Isley; brother, Lester Auman Webster; and her special dog, Lucky.
 
 A funeral service will be held Thursday, April 14, 2016, at 2 p.m. in the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Graham. Officiating will be Chaplain Danny Green. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from noon until 2 p.m. prior to the service. At other times they will be at the residence.
 
 In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance/ Caswell, 914 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, NC 27215.
