Anne Kapp Wagoner


    ELON — Anne Kapp Wagoner, 64, of 4346 Altamahaw Race Track Road, passed away on Saturday, October 18, 2008, at her home surrounded by her family. She was a native of Alamance County and was married to the late Jerry Alfred Wagoner.
    Anne was employed for many years as a teacher with the Altamahaw Baptist Church Day Care and attended Bethlehem Christian Church. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother and she enjoyed spending time at the beach.
    She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Michelle and Fred Barringer of Gibsonville, Teresa Wagoner of Elon, Kimberly Wagoner, and Wendy Doyle, both of Burlington; granddaughter, Jeri Barringer; sister and brother-in-law, Sharon Kapp Reavis and her husband, Jim, of Mebane; brother and sister-in-law, Grant Kapp and his wife, Kathy, of Mebane; sister-in-law, Loretta Wagoner Harrison; nieces, Kelsey Dunlap, Lisa (Brad) Atkins and Lynne Harrison (Dana) McKenzie; nephews, Jimmy (Nikki) Kapp and Gary (Debbie) Harrison; great nieces, Brandy Harrison and Nora Grace McKenzie. She was preceded in death by her husband and parents, Granville Alexander Kapp Sr. and Mary Alice Garrison Kapp.
    The funeral will be held at 11 AM Tuesday, October 21, 2008, at Bethlehem Christian Church by the Rev. Dave Gilbert and the Rev. David Greene and interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Monday at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory and other times at the home.
    Memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care Center of Alamance-Caswell, 914 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, NC 27215 or the American Cancer Society, 4-A Oak Branch Drive, Greensboro, NC 27407-2145.
