BURLINGTON — Fred Holt Boone , 50, of Boone Road, passed away Wednesday, August 15, 2007, at his home.
He was born in Alamance County, and was the son of William Holt Boone and Wilma Byrd Boone .
He was employed by Elon University and was a member of Lakeview Community Church.
He is survived by his daughter, Brandy Boone and son, Bryan Boone , both of Elon; brother, Allen Ralph Boone of Mebane; and his parents of Burlington.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bennie Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Alamance Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, and other times at his parents’ home, 532 Boone Road, Burlington.
Memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care Center of Alamance-Caswell, 914 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, N.C. 27215 or to Staley Memorial Baptist Church, 1446 N. Graham-Hopedale Road, Burlington, N.C. 27217.
