BURLINGTON — Dazzie Vance Ward, 74, of 3213 Elk Dr. died Saturday, July 12, 2003 at White Oak Manor.
He was born in Alamance County to the late Charlie Gilmore Ward and the late Adell Mansfield Ward and was married to Elsie Lee Allison Ward who survives. He was a member of Friendship Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of the home, daughter, Cheryl Lynn Loy of Burlington; sons, Ricky Waddell Ward of the home and Ronald Preston of Thomasville; four grandchildren; sisters, Inez Smith of Garner, Lela Campbell and Violet Mae Stewart, both of Burlington and brothers, John H. Ward of Fayetteville and David Ward of Snow Camp. The funeral will be held at 4:00 pm Tues day at Friendship Baptist Church by Dr. Tommy Cook. Interment will follow in Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 7-9 pm today at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory and other times at the home. 3, Dazzie Vance Ward
