Diane Willett, 71, of Gibsonville passed away at her residence on Tuesday, March 28, 2023.

A native of Davidson County, she was the wife of the late Ray Lewis Willett and the daughter of Edgar Lee Shell and Betty Byrd Shell, both deceased.

Survivors include a daughter, Tracy Matthews; brother-in-law, Vance Willett and his family; adopted daughter, Elvira Albright; two sisters, Tess Matthews and Diane Pinnix; brother, Clarence Pinnix; one grandchild; four great grandchildren; and a host of friends and family.

A graveside service will be conducted at Gibsonville City Cemetery on Thursday, April 6, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. by The Rev. James Leroy Murdock with the family receiving friends at the residence of Elvira Albright, 408 South Joyner Street, Gibsonville, NC following the service.
