Pansy Wyrick Summers

August 26, 1949 ~ June 22, 2020 (age 70)

Pansy Wyrick Summers, 70, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, June 22, 2020. She was a native of Guilford County and the daughter of the late Cicero Adolphus Wyrick and Kathleen Elizabeth Andrews Wyrick Brown. She was also the wife of the late James Odell ‘Bud” Summers who died in 2006.
Pansy retired from Rego (Engineered Controls Corporation). She was devoted to her family and especially her grandchildren. She loved her dog “Rocky” who preceded her in death.
Survivors include her son, James Summers and wife, Laura of Burlington; grandson, Dylan Summers and granddaughter, Aaliyah Riley; sisters, Shirley Ross and husband, Gary, Margie May and husband, Carl and Betty Coble; brother, Clay Wyrick. She was preceded in death by her husband, son, Chad Andrews Summers; parents and a brother, Lincoln Lee Wyrick
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 25, 2020 at 2pm at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Garry Yeatts. The burial will follow at Hope River Church Cemetery. The body will be available for viewing from 8am-1:45pm on Thursday prior to the service. The service will be lived streamed for the safety of those who can’t physically be in attendance.
