LONG BEACH, Calif. — Jimmy Leon Swaim, 62, entered this world on March 16, 1946, and went to be with the Lord on September 17, 2008.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Ettie Mae Swaim.
Survivors include his father, Jesse O. Swaim of Long Beach, Calif.; sons, Jeff and Jeromy Swaim, both of Burlington; daughters, Shelly and Stacy Swaim, both of Burlington; grandchildren, Cody Swaim, Jesse Swaim, Summer Buckner, Savannah O’Daniel and Kasey Pittman, all of Burlington; sisters, Sheila Dyer and Rita Huff, both of California; and nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles from California and North Carolina.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. October 11, 2008, at Pine Hill Cemetery in Burlington.
A special "Thank you" to Dr. Jeff Bassett and staff, for all the care you gave to Jimmy.
