OBITUARIES
Mr. Charlie Ervin Terrell 
    EFLAND — Mr. Charlie Ervin Terrell , 76, of 3218 Southern Drive, died at 3 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2004, at his residence after a critical illness of three weeks.
    A native of Alamance County, he was the husband of Mrs. Vera Pearson Terrell , who survives, and the son of the late John Oscar Terrell  and Ester Jackson Terrell . He retired as a shipping and receiving supervisor for Sara Lee Inc. in Mebane and was a member of Efland United Methodist Church.
    Survivors other than his wife of the home include two daughters, Mrs. Joy T. (Garrette) White of Burlington, and Mrs. Penny T. (Mark) Smith of Reidsville; two sons, Mr. Timothy E. (Debbie) Terrell  of Efland and Mr. Thomas G. (Jennifer) Terrell  of Morehead City; six grandchildren; five greatgrandchildren; and four brothers, Devoy Terrell  of Tennessee, Joe Terrell  of Mebane, Henry Terrell  of Burlington, and Herbert Terrell  of Charlotte.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Earl Terrell , Thomas Terrell , and Ernest Terrell . The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 19, 2004, at Efland United Methodist Church by the Rev. Cindy Lister, and the Rev. Jimmy Cain. Entombment will be in Alamance Memorial Park Mausoleum.
    The family will receive friends at the McClure Funeral Service in Mebane from 6 to 8 this evening, and at other times at the residence.
    In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Duke Health Community Care, 4321 Medical Park Drive, Suite 101, Durham, N.C. 27204; Efland United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 1, Efland, N.C. 27243; or to a charity of choice.
