Vera Pearson Terrell
   MEBANE, N.C. — Vera Pearson Terrell, 85, of 343 Baldwin Road, Apt. C1-2 Burlington, N.C., died Jan. 17, 2013 at the Hospice Home.

   The daughter of the late Charlie and Annie Lee Isley Pearson, she was a member of Efland United Methodist Church and a retired Nursing Assistant at Lenox Baker Children’s Hospital. She enjoyed sewing, quilting and loved her children and grandchildren.

   Survivors include daughters, Joy White and Penny Smith and husband Mark; sons, Timothy Terrell and wife Debbie and Thomas Terrell and wife Jennifer; sister, Catherine Thomas; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

   She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Charlie Ervin Terrell; sisters, Beulah Foushee, Agnus Petty, Margaret Deese and Blondie Page; brothers, Lambert Pearson, Carl Pearson and Howard Pearson; and grandson, NaBill Smith.

   The family will receive friends from 4 until 6 p.m. Saturday,

   Jan. 19, 2013 at McClure Funeral Service in Mebane.

   The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 20, 2013 at Efland United Methodist Church by the Rev. Cindy Lister and Ken McLean.

   Entombment will be at the Alamance Memorial Park Mausoleum on Monday, Jan. 21, 2013 at 11 a.m.

   Memorials may be made to Efland United Methodist Church, 3100 U.S. 70 West, Efland, NC 27243.
