July 12, 1944 ~ March 17, 2025 (age 80)
Mr. Kenneth Leroy Rudd, 80, of Burlington, passed away Monday, March 17, 2025, at the Hospice Home in Burlington.
A native of Caswell County, he was the husband of the late Barbara Patricia Simmons Rudd, and son of the late Christopher Columbus Rudd and Nellie Smith Rudd. He was retired from Piedmont Natural Gas Company and was a member of Bush Arbor Primitive Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, David Rudd (Robin) and Steven Rudd (Anessa) all of Burlington; five grandchildren, Chandler, Christopher, Courtney, Christian and Chelsea; a sister, Vicky Rudd Oakley (Marion); and a brother, Danny Keith Rudd (Terry). He was preceded in death by two brothers, Christopher Levi Rudd and James Sylvester Rudd.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Sunday, March 23, 2025, at Bush Arbor Primitive Baptist Church with Dwight Chandler and Pastor Rodney Staley, officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Rich & Thompson Funeral Service in Burlington from 4-6 PM Saturday, March 22, 2025. Other times, they will be at the residence.
