Mrs. Barbara Patricia Simmons Rudd, 77, of Burlington, passed away Sunday, September 5, 2021, at the Hospice Home in Burlington.
A native of Caswell County, she was the wife of Kenneth Rudd, and daughter of the late Aubrey Hobart Simmons and Eliza Harrelson Simmons. She was retired from Burlington Industries.
Surviving, other than her husband of the home, are two sons, David Rudd (Robin) and Steven Rudd (Anessa) all of Burlington; five grandchildren, Chandler, Christopher, Courtney, Christian and Chelsea; a sister, Judy Howell (Mack); a brother, Ken Simmons (Linda); and a brother-in-law, Bennie Hall. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Elaine Dabbs and her husband Joe Dabbs and Audrey Hall.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Friday, September 10, at Bush Arbor Primitive Baptist Church with Elder David Underwood officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Rich & Thompson Funeral Service in Burlington from 5-7 PM Thursday.
