Pamela Barnes Turner 


    ELON — Pamela Barnes Turner , 46, of 2337 Pitt Road. died on Friday, January 19, 2007 at her home.

She was born in Alamance County, daughter of the late Wayne Jennings Barnes  and Sara Marie Coleman Barnes  who survives.

She was employed by Gold Toe Brands, Inc.

    She is survived by her children, Michael VanDusen and his wife Rhonda of Mebane, Charles Coulter of Burlington and Natasha Turner  of the home; grandchildren, Rachel, MaKayla and Trey; mother, Sara Barnes  of the home; brothers and sisters-in-law, Richard and Shelia Barnes  of Elon, Raymond "Randy" and Carolyn Barnes  of Cana, VA, Robert and Lisa Barnes  of Lincolnton; sisters and brothers-in-law, Hattie and Marshall Mebane of Burlington, Linda Diane and Jimmy Wrenn of Snow Camp, Donna Barnes  of Burlington, Angela and Douglas Drum of Raleigh; numerous nieces and nephews and a special friend, Pearlina Yancey.

    The funeral will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Jeanne Neal with burial to follow in Pine Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home and at other times at the residence.
