Ronnie Lee Apple
Mr. Ronnie Lee Apple, 73, of Elon passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 31, 2022.
Ronnie was born November 20, 1948 to William Elton Apple and Kitty Mildred Lowe Apple. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps before beginning work with the Alamance/Burlington school system in the school bus garage. He was a “jack of all trades” and seemed to be able to fix anything. He was also a member of Osceola Baptist Church. Most of all, Ronnie adored his family and doting on his granddaughters and great-granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his father.
Ronnie is survived by his wife, Sandra Key Apple; mother, Kitty Lowe Apple; son, Jeffery Apple (Donna); granddaughters, Anna Apple Paschal (Tyler) and Brooke Apple (Robert Layton); and great-granddaughter, Oaklynn Grace Paschal.
A celebration of Ronnie’s life will be held Friday, June 3, 2022 at 2 PM at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 12 PM – 2 PM prior to the service. Burial will follow the service at Osceola Baptist Church.
