Mrs. Rebecca "Becky" Swift Isley
SNOW CAMP — Mrs. Rebecca "Becky" Swift Isley , 51, of 1407 W. Greensboro-Chapel Hill Road, Snow Camp, died at 1:45 p.m. Thursday, July 12, 2007, at Alamance Regional Medical Center following a seven week illness.
A native of Alamance County, she was the wife of Tony G. Isley and daughter of the late Erma Susan Terrell Swift and Herman Lee Swift who survives. She was the office manager at Alamance Eye Center, a member of Friendship United Methodist Church and organist for the church.
Surviving other than her husband of the home and father of Elon, are a daughter, Ms. Jodi Anita Isley ; a son, Mr. Eric King Isley , both of the home; a sister, Mrs. Vickie Swift Hodge and husband Barry of Elon; a brother, Mr. Gene Swift and wife Donna of Elon; three nieces, and two nephews.
The funeral will be held 3 p.m. Sunday, July 15, at Friendship United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jack W. Page Jr., the Rev. Alvin M. Horne, and the Rev. Everett Rumley officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Rich & Thompson Mortuary in Burlington from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday evening, July 14, and at other times at the residence. The casket will be placed in the church to lie in state 30 minutes prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Friendship United Methodist Church, 4612 Friendship-Patterson Mill Road, Burlington, N.C. 27215 or to the American Cancer Society, 4-A Oak Branch Drive, Greensboro, N.C. 27407.
