Obituary Online notes for Richard Chandler CARTER
Richard Chandler "Bubbles" Carter of S. Mebane St. passed away Saturday at his home after several years of failing health.

He was the husband of the late Carolyn Solomon Carter and the son of the late Columbus Franklin and Zelma Thomas Carter.

He was a native of Pittsylvania County, retired from the Lorillard Corporation and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his daughters, Mary Greeson of Burlington, Patricia Turner and her husband Dennis of Burlington, brothers, Donnie (Judy) Carter of Whitsett, Thomas "Ted" (Ann) Carter of Burlington, Ronald (Pam) Carter of Whitsett, grandchildren, Stephanie Turner, Jonathan Greeson and Matthew Greeson.

He was preceded in death by his wife, parents and a sister Piscilla Carter.

The funeral will be held 2:30 PM Wednesday at Straightway Baptist Church by Brother Jimmy Bledsole.

Interment will follow in Alamance Memorial Park. 470, Richard Chandler Carter
