Peggy Brannock Cooper, 84, of Burlington passed away at Alamance Regional Medical Center on Wednesday, May 3, 2023.
A native of Alamance County, she was the wife of the late Walter Wells Cooper and the daughter of the late Mamie Pamelia Montgomery Brannock. She was Valedictorian of her Elon High School Class and retired from Alamance-Caswell Mental Health. She was of the Presbyterian faith.
Survivors include two sisters, JoAnn Whitesell of Charlotte and Eva Sneed of Burlington; niece, Jan Whitesell; nephew, Jeffrey Sneed Whitesell; special friends, Valerie and Sherry; Happier Days’ Sarah Lambert; and Crystal Griffin, NP.
A graveside service will be conducted at Alamance Memorial Park on Tuesday, May 9, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. by Rev. David Franks.
