Vickie Leonard Teague
LIBERTY — Mrs. Vickie Leonard Teague , 52, of 2363 Staley Store Road, died at the Hospice and Palliative Care Center of Alamance-Caswell on Monday, May 29, 2006 at 2:55 a.m.
A native of Alamance County, she was the wife of William Thomas "Billy" Teague who survives. She was a processing clerk for the N.C. Department of Transportation, Traffic Services. She was a member of Swepsonville Baptist Church, the Alamance County War Memorial Committee, and the N.C. State Employee Association.
In addition to the husband of the home, survivors include her mother, Ms. Billie Moody Leonard of Graham; her father and step-mother, Mr. Harrell D. Leonard and Mrs. Nancy Leonard of Burlington; her sister and best friend, Ms. Jan Carter of Mebane; one step-sister, Mrs. Amy Walker of Burlington; one grandmother, Mrs. Mary Boggs of Burlington; mother-in-law, Mrs. Betty Teague of Liberty; and one nephew, Mr. Scotty Brown and wife, Andrea of Mebane; and her best friend "Daisy" of the home.
A memorial service will be conducted at the Rich & Thompson Chapel, Graham on Wednesday, May 31, 2006 at 3:00 p.m. by Rev. Bill Abrams. The family will greet friends following the service at the Rich & Thompson Chapel. Other times they will be at the residence of the mother, Billie Leonard, 1863 Edgewood Lane, Graham, N.C. 27253.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance-Caswell, 914 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, N.C. 27215 or to Swepsonville Baptist Church Fellowship Repair Fund, P.O. Box 7, Swepsonville, N.C. 27359.
