June 28, 1953 ~ April 18, 2020 (age 66)
Edward Lee Thomas "Eddie" of Burlington passed away Saturday, April 18, 2020.
A native of Alamance County, he was the husband of the late Susan Camille Heffner Thomas and the son of the late Garland Thomas and the late Emily Cantrell Thomas. He was employed with the Alamance County Emergency Medical Services for 31 years and volunteered with the A.O. Fire Department for 37 years.
Eddie was in the Alamance County beekeepers club and was in a hunting club as well. Eddie loved to farm and ride horses.
Survivors include a son, Jon Andrew Thomas and his wife Brittany; grandchildren, Ethan Garrett Wynn, Rebekkah Brianna Wynn and Clayton Andrew Lee Thomas; and son-in-law, Billy Wynn.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Candice Thomas Wynn.
In light of the recent restrictions due to the Coronavirus, there will be a memorial service held at a later date. 261, Edward Lee Thomas “Eddie”
