Thelma Tickle Crouse
     Mrs. Urby Crouse, 41, died at her home on the Ossipee Road yesterday morning at 12:30 o'clock following an illness of five months.
     Mrs. Crouse was a native of Alamance County, the daughter of Horace P. and Mary E. Redding Tickle.
     Survivors include her husband, one daughter, Shirley Crouse, of the home; one son, Carroll Crouse, of the home; three sisters, Mrs. Sharkey Saunders of Burlington, Mrs. Dallas Neese of Greensboro, and Mrs. Wade Squires of Newport News, Va.; and one brother, Robert D. Tickle of Burlington.
     Final rites were conducted at the Shallowford Congregational Christian Church near Elon College, this afternoon at 3 o'clock. Rev. Kenneth D. Register, pastor of the Union Ridge Congregational Christian Church, officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery
