Richard Wayne Bradley, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on August 18, 2025, just shy of his 69th birthday.
Born on August 28, 1956, in Alamance County, Richard was a man who lived his life with a passion for music, a love for grilling out, and an unwavering devotion to his family.
Richard retired from Alcatel-Lucent Technologies, where he was respected for his dedication and expertise. Yet, it was his roles outside of work that truly defined him. He found immense joy in spending time with his loved ones and cherished his moments watching football with family and friends.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Laurel Bradley, who stood by his side through all of life's ups and downs. Together, they raised three wonderful daughters, Miranda Lim (Steven), Dr. Samantha Metivier (Christopher), and Shelley Miller (Alex).
The joy of Richard’s life was further enriched by his grandchild, Astoria Lim, who brought immeasurable happiness into his world. Richard also leaves behind his loving sister, Vickie Rich (Wayne), and several nieces.
He rejoins his beloved parents, Jack Ronald Bradley and Shirley Ann Jordan Bradley, whom he missed dearly. As we gather to celebrate his life, we find solace in the cherished memories we hold close. 256, Richard Wayne Bradley
