Obituary Online notes for Joseph Odell CROUSE
BURLINGTON - Joseph Odell Crouse, 58, of 418 Laurel Hill Drive died Friday at Duke University Medical Center in Durham.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Andrews Memorial Baptist Church, of which he was a member. Burial will be in Alamance Memorial Park.

A native of Alamance County, he was employed with Kayser-Roth Transportation and an Army veteran of the Korean War. He was an usher and greeter at his church, where he received awards for 25 years of perfect attendance. He received awards for 18 years of safe driving for Kayser-Roth Transporation and at the State Truckers' Rodeo in 1981 and was Driver of the Month in December 1986.

Surviving are wife, Mrs. Bette Burgess Crouse; daughters, Mrs. Joanne Ragle of Burlington, Mrs. Angela Breashears of Graham; son, Joseph Glenn Crouse of Mebane; father, Glenn Crouse of Burlington; sisters, Mrs. Sara Sharpe, Mrs. Shirley Williams, both of Burlington; brother, Robert Crouse of Burlington; three granddaughters.
