Mrs. Rebecca Jane Lamberson, 44, of 2010 Parkside Drive, Jonesboro, died early Saturday morning in St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center, following a lengthy illness. A Jonesboro native, she had lived most of her life in the area. She was an employee of Sandy's Finishing Touch, and was a member of the Fisher Street United Methodist Church. She was named "Miss Fluffy Rice of Arkansas" in 1976-77.
Surviving are her husband, Terry Lamberson of the home, two sons, Darren T. Moyer of Chattanooga, and Terry Lee Lamberson II of the home; one daughter, Jennifer J. Moyer of Jonesboro; her mother, Ramona Buhrmester, also of Jonesboro; two brothers, Fred W. Buhrmester of Jonesboro and Paul G. Buhrmester of Mumford, Tennessee; one sister Patricia A. White of Juneau, Alaska, and one granddaughter.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday afternoon at 2 in the Fisher Street Methodist Church, with Rev. Jesse Bruner officiating.
Burial will follow in the Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery, under the direction of the Emerson Funeral Home of Jonesboro, where visitation will be held from 6 to 8 this evening. 470, Rebecca Jane “Becky” Burhmester Moyer
