Kevin Ray Summers
   ELON — Kevin Ray Summers, 42, of Busick Quarry Road, died on Monday, Sept. 16, 2013, at Alamance Regional Medical Center after a brief illness. He was born in Alamance County, the son of the late David and Denise Barber Summers. Kevin formerly worked with NC DOT and was a member of Altamahaw Baptist Church. He truly enjoyed spending time with his family, especially working alongside his dad on race cars, go-karts, and restoring classic cars.

   He is survived by his brother, Keith (Diana) Summers of Elon and uncles, Wayne (Pam) Summers of Elon, Robert (Dee) Summers of Burlington.

   The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Altamahaw Baptist Church by Dr. Steve Tucker with burial to follow in Bethlehem Christian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 Thursday evening at Lowe Funeral Home & Crematory.
