Callie Barber
Mrs. Callie Mae Wrenn Barber, 65, of Rt. 2, Elon College, died Saturday at Alamance County, Hospital following 18 months of declining health.
A native of Alamance County, she was the daughter of the late James Thomas Wrenn and Mary Ann Alice Apple Wrenn and widow of David Lee Barber. She was a member of Bethlehem United Chirch of Christ.
She is survived by her daughter, Miss Ann Barber of Rt. 2, Elon College; sister, Mrs. Fannie McIntyre of Rt. 2, Elon College; brothers, Max Wrenn and Melvin Wrenn, both of Rt. 2, Elon College.
Final rites will be conducted at 4 p.m. Monday at Bethlehem United Church of Christ by the Rev. John Wildre, pastor, assisted by Frank Bell. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
The body will remain at Lowe Funeral Home until placed in the church 30 minutes prior to the service. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. tonight. 467
