Emma Jean Hall Faulkner


    BURLINGTON — Mrs. Emma Jean Hall Faulkner, age 81, of 4025 Charlie Ingle Lane, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, May 17, 2012 surrounded by her loving family.
    Jean was a native of Alamance County and was the daughter of the late Ralph Lee Hall and the late Bessie Steele Hall. She was also preceded in death by her 14 siblings, Luke Hall, Helen Hall, Ed Hall, Nell Petry, Ralph Hall Jr., Thomas Hall,BillHall,VivianStraughan, Ester Jean Sykes, Doc Hall, Ella Ray Hall, Pete Hall, Richard Hall and Abe Hall.
    Mrs. Faulkner is survived by her husband of 62 years, Jim Faulkner; her three daughters, Glenda (David) Moss, Debra (Bob) Shutt and Angie Faulkner Feaster; two sons, Donnie (Rhonda) Faulkner and Ronnie (Lynn) Faulkner; nine grandchildren, Cyndi Holt, Mike Lassiter, Andy Shutt, Kathryn Getsinger, Nick Faulkner, Donnie Faulkner Jr., Danny Faulkner, Christian Albright and Ethan Albright; and nine great- grandchildren.
    Jean was an employee of the Alamance-Burlington
School System for over 24 years. She was of the Baptist faith and was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Alamance County Rescue. Her loves were spending time with her family and driving her school bus.
    The funeral service will be conducted at 4 p.m. Sunday, May 20, 2012 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Dr. Terry Huffines. Entombment will follow at Alamance Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 Saturday evening at the funeral home and at other times at the residence.
