BURLINGTON- Glen Grigg, age 64, of Burlington, passed away on Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at his home.
He was born in Lamesa, TX and then lived most of his life in Ackerly, TX before his recent move to Burlington. During his lifetime he was an Emergency Medical Technician and a funeral director. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, traveling and especially playing cards with his friends. Glen faced challenges during his life head on and handled them better than most. Even though he had a rough exterior, he had a kind heart.
Glen is survived by his wife, Katie Kernodle Grigg; two children, Tinsey Grigg of Lubbock, TX and Jackson Grigg and his wife, Carrie, of Burlington; two grandchildren, Ackerly and Teagan; two brothers, several nieces, nephews and a host of good friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Louise Murphy Grigg.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, August 21, 2020 at Union Ridge Church Cemetery by Pastor Gerald Saunders following a private burial.
