Linda Cooper, 77, of Snow Camp passed away on Saturday, December 24, 2022 at the AuthoraCare Collective Hospice Home in Burlington after several years of declining health.
A native of Alamance County, she was the wife of William Hal Cooper and the daughter of the late Paul Hughes Higgs and the late Alene Sutton Warren. Linda was an educator with the Alamance Burlington School System for over 20 years. She was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church where she served the church in numerous capacities.
In addition to her husband of the home she is survived by her son, Jeff Rudd and his wife Amber of Burlington; daughter, Jennifer Rudd of Burlington; step-son, Joey Cooper of Snow Camp; grandchildren, Morgan Rudd of Beckley, WV & Caroline Rudd of Cary; and brother, Dale Warren and his wife Susanne of Raleigh.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-daughter, Tracy Cooper.
Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, December 29, 2022 at Bethel United Methodist Church in Snow Camp. She will lie is state from 1:00 pm until 1:45 pm prior to the funeral service. The family will receive friends immediately following the committal service in the church fellowship hall.
