ELON COLLEGE - Elna Doris Huey, 64, of 1750 Power Line Road died Wednesday morning, June 22, 1994, at her home after a lengthy illness.
Born in Alamance County, she was the daughter of the late C. Chester Huey and Josie Loy Huey, who survives. She was employed by Metropolitan Life Insurance Co. in Greensboro. She was a member of Elon College Community Church where she served as a deacon.
Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Magnolia Cemetery in Elon College with the Rev. Archie B. Aitcheson, pastor of Elon College Community Church, officiating.
Surviving are mother, Mrs. Josie Loy Huey of the home; one brother, Paul H. Huey of Elon College.
Miss Huey will remain at Lowe Funeral Home until being taken to the cemetery for services. The family will receive friends 7-9 tonight at the funeral home., other times at the residence.
