Eddie Lee Ross, 63, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 29, 2023. He was born on February 17, 1960 in Alamance County to the late Robert “Bobby” Hayes Ross, Jr. and Annie Lou Huffines Ross, and was the husband of 35 years to Debra Brown Ross who survives.
Eddie was a retired machinist who worked for Honda Jet and other manufacturing companies in Greensboro during his career. He was a member of Bethel Christian Church; he enjoyed restoring tractors, going to tractor and engine shows, being outdoors tending to his cows, spending free time at Philpott Lake and the cabin at the coast on the Currituck Sound. He also enjoyed using his construction skills learned from his dad Bobby.
Survivors other than his wife, Debra Ross include his son, Matthew Ross and wife Cody; a daughter, Samantha Ross Brown and husband Brandon; a grandson that he adored, Luke Crowell Ross; a brother, Phil Ross and wife Renee; a brother-in-law, Dale Brown and wife Maria; and three nieces, one nephew and many cousins.
The celebration of life service will be held at 4:00pm Thursday, August 3, 2023 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Caleb Hensley. The family will receive friends following the service and other times at the home.
