Obituary Online notes for Russell Vester BARBER
Russell Vester Barber, 77, passed away on Thursday, April 14, 2016 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born in Alamance County to the late James Harlan and Minnie Jones Barber and was married for 49 years to Clara E. Barber who survives. He was a faithful member of Gospel Baptist Church. He was a loving and devoted husband, brother, father, grandfather and great grandfather.
He is survived by his wife Clara of the home, daughter, Terry “Sissy” Barber; sons, Tony (Regina) Barber, Brad (Dana) Barber and Rod (Tracie) Barber; seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren; brothers, Bud Barber and Curtis Barber. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Kate Barber Evans.
The funeral will be held at 1:00 PM Monday at Gospel Baptist Church by Pastor Ken Goins with interment to follow at Lakeview Memorial Park.
