Joan Arthur, 96, of Richmond, IN formerly of Lynn, IN passed away early Monday, November 30, 2020 at Golden Living Center of Richmond, IN.
She was born November 12, 1924 in Eaton, Ohio the daughter of Charles and Irene (Clingenpeel) Alexander. She was a 1942 graduate of Spartanburg High School.
Joan retired as a cashier/teller for Citizens Bank, in 1981. She is a member of First United Methodist Church of Richmond, IN.
Joan leaves to cherish her memory a loving husband, Noel; two sons, Bruce Arthur of Winchester, IN and Steve Arthur (wife, Debbie) of Evansville, IN; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Robert and James.
A graveside service will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at Spartanburg Cemetery of Spartanburg, IN. Wearing mask and social distancing are ask of all attendees. Memorial contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church, 318 National Rd. W. Richmond, IN 47374. Wilson Shook Funeral Home, Thomas Memorial Chapel has been entrusted with arrangements.
