Lester Bradsher Burton 
    BURLINGTON — Lester Bradsher Burton , 79, of 2711 Holly Hill Lane died Friday, August 20, 2004 after four months failing health and a critical illness of two days. He was born in Caswell County, son of the late Lester  Hassell Burton  and the late Mary Elizabeth Bradsher Burton  and was married for over 53 years to Margie McKinney Burton , who survives. Mr. Burton  was a staff manager with Home Security Life Insurance Company for 38 years and was a faithful member of Andrews Memorial Baptist Church.
    He is survived by his wife of the home, a daughter, Barbara Burton  Sessoms and her husband Terry of Greensboro; a son, Ronnie Lester Burton  and his wife Sherry of Burlington; grandchildren, Tonya Marie Baldwin, Charles Christopher Allen, Brooke Tristan Burton  and Kerry Earl Burton ; great grandchildren, Sierra Elane Jacobs, Dazya Jade Cheek and Hannah Rebecca Baldwin; sisters, Katherine Burton  and Beatrice Hornaday, both of Burlington and a brother, Julian C. Burton  of Burlington. He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, Floyd Hassell Burton  and C. Chester Burton .
    The funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 24, 2004 at the Chapel of Andrews Memorial Baptist Church in Graham with Dr. Tommy Willis officiating. Burial will follow in Baynes Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday evening at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory and other times at the home.
