 BURLINGTON — Mr. Leland Kenneth Williams, age 67, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 18, 2014, at the Hospice Home after several months of failing health.
 
 Born in Berea County, Ohio, he was the son of the late Lt. Col. Leland Tracey Williams, U.S.A.F., Ret. and the late Fay Oliver Hill Williams. He was married for 44 years to Mrs. Nancy Patricia Sadler Williams, who survives. Leland was a U.S. Army veteran, retired from Sonoco with more than 20 years of service and was a member of Stony Creek Presbyterian Church.
 
 Mr. Williams is survived by his wife, Pat; a daughter, Susan Williams Gwynn and her husband, Jesse, of Burlington; three grandchildren, Sierra Williams, Sadler Gwynn, and Catherine Gwynn; and three sisters, Margaret (Donald) Faust, Judy (David) Wood and Lori (Dave) Cox.
 
 He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Leland Samuel Williams.
 
 A graveside memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 21, 2014, at Stony Creek Presbyterian Church cemetery by the Rev. Randy Wellford. The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall and other times at the daughter’s
 
 residence.
 
 The family would
 
 like to extend a special thanks to the staff of Hospice, especially Cindy van Staveren, for all the loving and thoughtful care given to Mr. Williams.
