BURLINGTON — Mary Elizabeth Tilley Gerringer, 68, of 1930 Trail Two Apt. 6-E in Burlington, died on Thursday, March 29, 2012, at the Hospice Home of Alamance-Caswell.
A native of Alamance County, she was the daughter of the late Charles Fred Tilley, Sr. and Alyse Waddell Tilley.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda Brus Eaton and husband John of Myrtle Beach, SC; son, George R. Weiss of Burlington; three grandchildren, Amy Jordan and husband Scott of Myrtle Beach, SC, Michael Jolly and wife Emma of Calabash, NC and Joshua Weiss of the home; three great-grandchildren; brother Fred Tilley and wife Annette of Snow Camp; sister, Sherry Tilley Stephens and husband Simmons of Burlington; and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Tracie Weiss-Callicutt in October 2010.
The funeral service will be conducted at Hope Baptist Church on Monday, April 2, 2012, at 11 a.m. by Pastor Frederick Bunts.
