Ruby Lucy Taylor Cobb
BURLINGTON, N.C. — Ruby Lucy Taylor Cobb, 99, of 1994 North N.C. 62, Burlington, N.C. died Friday, January 14, 2011 at her residence.
A native of Person County, N.C., she worked for 20 years for Burlington Mills. Mrs. Cobb was a member of New Life Church @ Burlington.
Survivors include her daughter, Gaynell Bruner, of Burlington, N.C.; sons, Ronald T. Cobb (Kay) of Haw River, N.C. and Edward T. Cobb (Arteil) of Burlington, N.C.; seven grandchildren, Lisa Church, Randy Cobb, Cindy Cobb, Sheron Warren, Terry Gusler, Bryant Cobb and Delisa Cobb; nine greatgrandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Gattis Cobb; son, Freddie Cobb; son-in-law, J.B. Bruner; daughters-in-law, Faye Cobb and Sarah Cobb; grandson, Larry James Bruner; sisters, Maggie Clayton, Ruth Love Oakley and Nan Gregory; brothers, Dan Taylor, Lonnie Taylor and Henry Taylor.
The funeral service will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, January 16, 2011 at Mc-Clure Funeral Home Chapel in Graham by the Rev. Bruce Church and the Rev. Tommy Love. Burial will be in Alamance Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends at McClure Funeral Home in Graham from 2 until 3:30 p.m. prior to the service. At other times, they will be at the residence of the Rev. Bruce and Lisa Church, 1990 North N.C. 62, Burlington, N.C.

The family would like to thank Mrs. Cobb’s homecare providers, Verga Sterling, Lertorriet Harvey and Robin Mc-Cain for their compassion in caring for Mrs. Cobb.
