BURLINGTON — Mr. James Craig Murray, 56, of 1718 Pine Ridge Trail, passed away at Alamance Regional Medical Center on Wednesday, June 1, 2016, at 1:10 p.m.
A native of Alamance County, for 27 years he was the husband of Deborah Moore Murray, who survives, and the son of the late James Hughes Murray and Catherine Moffitt Murray, who survives.
Mr. Murray was a retired Quality Assurance Inspector for Honda Power Equipment in Swepsonville with 26 years of service. He was also a NC Auctioneer and a NC Real Estate licensee. He was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his wife of the home and mother of Burlington, survivors include a daughter, Jennifer Murray Stanfield and husband Tim of Graham; and two grandsons, Timothy Michael “T.J.” Stanfield Jr. and Nickolas Lee Stanfield.
The funeral service will be conducted in the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Burlington on Saturday, June 4, 2016, at 2 p.m. by Belinda Ann Thomas. Burial will
follow in Camp Springs United Methodist Church cemetery in Caswell County.
The family will receive friends at Rich & Thompson Funeral and Cremation Service in Burlington on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. At other times they will be at the residence of his mother, Catherine Murray, 1516 Sandy Cross Road, Burlington, NC.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, Memorial Processing Center, P.O. Box 5216, Glen Allen, VA 23058-5216.
