BURLINGTON — Mr. Roger Dale Mann, 64, of Burlington died at his residence on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at 2:14 p.m. following a lengthy illness.
A native of Alamance County, he was the husband of Judy Carden Mann, who survives and the son of the late H. W. Mann and Rebecca “Becky” Southard Mann, who survives. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army serving during the Vietnam War. He was an employee with CKS (Melville Plastics).
In addition to his wife and mother, survivors include two sons, Roger Dale Mann, II and wife Amy and Mitchell Lee Mann and wife Jennifer, all of Burlington; daughter, Laura Michelle Mann of Burlington; two step-daughters, Alesha Pearson and husband Michael of Mebane and Misty Younger of Burlington; eight grandchildren; two brothers, Michael Mann of Burlington and Gary Mann and wife Carolyn of Conover; and close friends, Rena Scott and Wayne Madden.
The funeral service will be conducted at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Burlington on Monday, December 28, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. by Rev. Rodney Murray with the family receiving friends from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the residence following the committal at the cemetery.
