BURLINGTON — Mr. Bobby Ray Crouse, 60, of Burlington, died at Duke University Medical Center on Tuesday, April 2, 2013.
A native of Alamance County, he was the loving husband of 25 years to Sylvia Crouse, who survives, and the son of Melvin Ray Crouse and Irene Barnes Crouse, both deceased.
He was a machinist for Fairy Stone Fabrics. Bobby loved NASCAR racing and fishing. He was a member of Glen Raven Baptist Church.
In addition to his wife of the home, survivors include three sons, Brian Crouse and wife Torie, Brad Crouse and wife Ashley and Danny Crouse and wife Carla; stepson, Michael Emery and wife Kelli; half brother, Larry Barnes; and a loving Paw-Paw to 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Crystal Crouse; and sister, Linda Crouse.
The funeral service will be conducted in the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Burlington on Friday, April 5, 2013 at 3 p.m. by the Rev. Bobby Fann. Burial will follow in Silk Hope at Mt. Vernon United Methodist Church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Rich &Thompson Funeral and Cremation Service in Burlington on Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m.
