Barbara “Bink” Montgomery Lawrence, 79, of Haw River passed away suddenly at UNC Hospitals at Chapel Hill on Wednesday, August 24, 2022.
A native of Caswell County, she was the wife of John “Homer” Lawrence, who survives and the daughter of Howard Montgomery and Edna Rice Montgomery, both deceased.
She retired from GKN as a Floor Inspector. She loved collecting antiques and gardening. Living Free Ministries was one of her favorite stores.
In addition to her husband, survivors include a daughter, Waverly Dae Brady of McLeansville; stepson, Nathan Kyle Lawrence of Graham; two grandchildren, William James Murray and Ronald Columbus Murray; three great-grandchildren, Logan Murray, Kathleen Murray, and Olivia Murray; brother, Kenny Montgomery of Greensboro; two sisters, Naomi Cates and Shirley Iseley, both of Burlington; and a sister-in-law, Betsy Mitchell (Mitch) of Carolina Shores, NC.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Kimberly Starr Thompson and two sisters, Glenda Sue Davis and Bettye Jo Mabe.
The family will receive friends at Rich & Thompson Funeral Home and Crematory in Graham on Tuesday, August 30, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon prior to the graveside service at Graham Memorial Park at 12:30 p.m. Other times the family will be at the residence. 261, Barbara "Bink" Montgomery Lawrence
